FAQ

INSTALLATION

  • Why install ISOCLIP® instead of an external insulation system or a ventilated façade?

With ISOCLIP® you will have all the advantages of traditional insulation systems. Furthermore, you can count on unrivaled installation speed, high resistance and an aesthetic result that remains unchanged over time.

  • How can I install an ISOCLIP® panel in the presence of pipes on the external facade of the building?

The insulation panel can be shaped to contain external pipes and cabling systems.

  • How can I install ISOCLIP® near windows?

With ISOCLIP® it is possible to cover windowsills, or areas near windows, thanks to special pieces that allow the installation to be completed correctly.

  • What type of maintenance is required for the ISOCLIP® system?

An insulating panel equipped with the ISOCLIP® system does not require any ordinary maintenance. The external porcelain stoneware layer resists impacts, vandalism and adverse weather conditions. Your home will retain all its beauty unaltered over time.

  • Who installs the ISOCLIP® system?

Trust a qualified professional. Together with the ISOCLIP® system we supply all the consumable materials necessary for assembly. Call us to discover the companies specializing in the installation of the ISOCLIP® system closest to you.

  • How is the ISOCLIP® panel cut?

The porcelain stoneware slab is cut with the appropriate diamond disc. Cutting the insulation panel requires a hot wire or a common carpenter’s saw.

  • How to drill the ISOCLIP® panel?

To drill holes of any diameter, use the appropriate diamond tubular drill bits. Avoid using a hammer drill.

TECHNIQUES

  • How much does an ISOCLIP® panel weigh?

Each panel, composed of an insulating layer and a porcelain stoneware slab, has a weight between 11 and 20 kg depending on the thickness of the ceramic material and the type of insulation chosen

  • How much does installation work with ISOCLIP® cost?

The installation work of ISOCLIP® thermal insulating panels is decidedly more convenient than that required for ventilated facades and traditional external insulation systems.

  • Can I choose the ceramic coating of ISOCLIP® panels?

ISOCLIP® thermal insulating panels are available in 7 different finishes to customize the building facade with the porcelain stoneware slab of your choice.

  • Are ISOCLIP® panels fire resistant?

ISOCLIP® can be supplied with different types of insulating material with specific fire reaction properties. The porcelain stoneware casing that encloses it enormously improves its fire resistance, making it resistant to open flames, while the insulation can be based on:

  1. Glass wool in Euroclass A2-S1, d0
  2. Silica airgel in Euroclass A2-S1, d0
  3. EPS added with graphite in Euroclass E (self-extinguishing)
  • How much does ISOCLIP® cost?

An ISOCLIP® thermal insulation system costs less than that required by designing a ventilated wall.

  • What is the thickness of the insulation panel?

Depending on the type of insulation chosen, the thickness varies as follows:

  1. glass wool available in thicknesses from 80 to 160 mm
  2. Silica Airgel panel available in thicknesses from 10 to 60 mm
  3. EPS panel available in thicknesses from 80 to 160 mm.
  • Can I choose the porcelain stoneware surface I prefer?

The ISOCLIP® thermal insulation system has seven standard surfaces to choose from. Other look finishes are supplied on request.

  • What are the delivery times?

Deliveries of up to 2,000 panels take 30 to 60 days. In the case of larger quantities, the delivery time is 90 days from order confirmation.

  • What formats are available?

The ISOCLIP® panel is made in the single 600 x 1200 mm format. The porcelain stoneware covering has a variable thickness of 6 or 9 mm.
